Extremely flighty and rather stupid, the Carino Lung Rabbit will nevertheless inform anyone nearby of intruders with their loud back foot thumps. Much like the average rabbit in temperament, their wings enable them to take to the skies in search of the treetop fruits and nuts.
Originally found on the southern island of Carino, these rabbits were first thought to be an a decendent of a much smaller, and now extinct, breed of winged rabbits from the south. The ancestors of the Lung were inbred to the point of sterility and snail-like responses. Anyone who buys a Lung rabbit had better be careful of inbreeding and be sure to keep the rabbit active and healthy.
