Yin'an Anquan Gubao

Darkness invaded the area, the thick smog was nearly impossible to see through. The ground is littered with dark, sooty branches that crack loudly in the silent area. Upon closer inspection, its realized they're dried bones. The ground is literally covered with them, making one think the place might actually be a plane of the dead.

Off in the far distance, one can barely make out an enormous structure, looming over the land, its spires disappear into the blackened sky. Pitch black marble seems to absorb any light nearby.

If one travels too far to either side, they reach a cliff. Looking over into the abyss, there is literally nothing below. The ground falls away to nothingness, the actual edge of the world. Behind the monolith is a petrified forest. A silent, haunting melody seems to play continuously so long as someone walks the small path through the stone trees.

Inside the dead castle, the enormous corridor was filled with shelves upon shelves of books. In front of the filled shelves were boxes; stacked on top were more books. Most of the books were not in any recognizable language, though a few scattered around could be found in Iscarii, Midorii, Dacian, or a few other languages of Cecatl.

Near the large double doored entrance is an open entryway leading into the kitchen. The brightly painted walls were a rich cream with soft swirls of faded steel and wood panneling. The center island had....yet more books. Luckily, the cabinets in the kitchen were filled, not with more books, but with untencils and plates. THe pantry had a few books stacked on the floor, but the shelves were lined with food.

On the right of the entrance is a decent-sized ballroom. A grand piano sits on a dias in the left corner, as well as a few other unknown instruments along the wall.

On the left at the end of the hall is a small staircase, leading downwards. Another staircase across the hall leads upwards.

Going down the stairs takes you to a large main room, with three doors. Each door opens into a series of large rooms, one leading into the next, like a stunted corridor. Each room is filled, floor to ceiling, with books. There are also books stacked several feet high along the floors and more on the various tables and chairs around the room. The last room, however, is locked. Strange, dimly glowing runes cover the door and the walls around it, sealing it shut except by the touch of a single man.

Moving to the upwards staircase takes you to another corridor. On the right is a large, open room, the main library. On the left are several smaller, interconnected rooms. The walls are still covered with books, and several stacks are all over the floor, the enormous white oak desk and the three chairs scattered around the room. The other three rooms each have a small table in the center, also covered with books.

Going further down the upstairs corridor, one reaches a few bedrooms. They are small, holding simply a bed and a table. Back out in the hall, there is half-built shelving units everywhere, as if more books will be installed in the six bedrooms. At the end of the hall is another staircase, leading to the third and four floor. Each floor is also covered in books, as if someone had spent millenia acquiring all the books of the known galaxy.

From the outside, one can see several tall spires stretching towards the black nothingness above. The tallest of the three is a slim bell tower, though there is an enormous bell strung up, it is silent, with no tongue. There is also no stairs to the top; the only way up is to fly.
